  • 2004

    Jonathan discovered a new way to make Xylitol at Purdue University using electricity.
  • 2005

    Purdue patented Jonathan’s work. After working together in the food industry, Paul and Jonathan decided bring it to market.
  • 2007

    Jonathan and Paul explored using electrochemistry for other natural sweeteners. This led to DFI’s production of Erythritol.
  • 2013

    Construction of DFI’s first industrial scale pilot plant for the production of erythritol.
  • 2017

    Significant scale Erythritol plant in final core process design with the goal of start Q4 2017.

Why Us?

DFI Erythritol is produced using an environmentally friendly, "green" process through their patented technology. This Erythritol has no artificial sweeteners, colors, flavors, fillers, or preservatives. We pride ourselves on our product and the technology that makes it. We set out to bring the world back to its natural roots, and it all started here.
